Compare the five starting points
| Construction | Consider for | Check on the sample |
|---|---|---|
| 3-fold manual | Branded everyday folding ranges | Manual operation, folded dimensions and sleeve |
| Automatic open & close | Buyers who want button-operated canopy opening and closing | Mechanism, reset operation, grip and handling instructions |
| Golf | Larger-format outdoor and golf programs | Coverage, overall length and frame specification |
| Straight | Classic branded and private-label ranges | Shaft, handle, opening action and packing |
| 5-fold compact | Travel and small-format carry requirements | Measured folded dimensions, weight and ease of use |
What does an umbrella size mean?
Ask which measurement the quoted size refers to: rib length, open canopy diameter, overall length or folded length. Do not compare two inch values until the measurement basis is clear.
Goodpartner’s owner-reported portfolio includes children’s sizes of 15, 17 and 19 inches and other sizes including 19.5, 21, 23, 25, 27, 30 and selected 34-inch golf formats. These are portfolio references, not measured specifications for each model. Confirm the measurement method and selected sample.
Can I choose by a windproof or lightweight label?
Request the actual test method, result and product configuration for a performance claim. For weight, compare measurements of the selected sample and state whether the sleeve or case is included. A product-family label alone does not establish performance.
